Presentation on Article V of the Constitution by Shawn Meehan

This is a guest presentation on some of the reasons against an Article V Convention under the US Constitution in our current times.

Now more than ever, our country is in need of citizens who understand the dynamic unity and responsibilities of the citizens of our great nation. These responsibilities require that we study the Constitution and the ways to best educate and hold our representatives in government accountable to “we the people.”

Many people believe the best way to recover certain overreaches by the federal government is through a so-called convention of states to propose Constitutional amendments limiting the federal government. Others believe this course of action might accomplish the exact opposite and endanger the constitutional liberties we enjoy today.
