How Do I Get Involved?
Join the Central Committee
There is a small body of Republicans whose voice extends far beyond the public ballot box. These people have the privilege of electing party leadership, deciding key issues and influencing the conduct of the Republican Party in Nevada. These people are the members of the Clark County Republican Central Committee, the CCRCC. You may join if you are a Republican and a resident of Clark County in good standing.
As a member of the CCRCC, your voice will be felt at a level far beyond those who only show up at the voting booth on Election Day. Through the CCRCC, you will have the opportunity to meet the people who shape our political landscape. You will have the opportunity to become one of those people if you are willing.
CCRCC meetings are held on the third Tuesday in alternate months. They typically begin at 6M to 7PM and last for about two hours. To join, you must submit an application for membership and attend two meetings. To remain a voting member, you must not miss two consecutive meetings without an excused absence.
CCRCC is the place to come to be on the inside of the party and making a real difference.
Join a Republican Club
There are many Republican clubs in Clark County. There are women’s clubs, men’s clubs, town hall groups and even a Republican Toastmasters’ Club. These groups provide fellowship, networking, opportunities to get involved and meet candidates and elected officials. Please see our affiliate page for a list of clubs and organizations.
Support Your Candidates
To locate a candidate of your choice, find the links to your candidate and click on the links to learn more about them.
Get out the Vote
Clark County has over 1100 precincts. One of the most important jobs in the party is that of the Precinct Captains. These are the people who organize the effort to get Republicans to tum out to vote on Election Day. There are many precincts that do not yet have a Precinct Captain. If you would like to become one, please volunteer here. If your precinct has an opening, you will be trained and supported by the CCRP. To ask questions, contact the Precinct Administrator from the Ask a Question page.
Openings for Party Volunteers
Every election, large numbers of volunteers are needed. Yet so many people who want to make a difference say, “I don’t know where to go or who to see or what to do!” The party headquarters, Republican clubs and candidates’ campaign headquarters are excellent places to go to get started. You will be welcomed and useful. Phone calls are hard to track and follow up, so go to the groups that attract you and join or volunteer .
