MISSION STATEMENT
The Clark County Republican Party exists to unify and educate citizens regarding current political issues and successfully motivate them through a call to action to elect Republican candidates. We will achieve this through outreach and alignment of all local Republican groups and individuals creating and communicating a common platform of principles and goals, encouraging citizens to donate and hold key official positions focused on driving voter turnout and ensuring election integrity.
The Republican Party is built on the principle that America works best and America prospers when individuals and families can maintain their independence from government.
Preamble
We believe there are Timeless Truths that are enshrined in our United States Constitution and our Bill of Rights that direct the Clark County Republican Party, the State of Nevada, and the United States of America regardless of events, circumstances, changing strategies, goals, or political leadership. These truths protect and defend our unalienable rights to Life, Liberty, Property, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
Election Integrity
In 1870, the 15th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified.
“The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.”
Exercising the right to vote is an extremely important and necessary responsibility of all U.S. Citizens. Safeguards in providing voter integrity are not only necessary, but critical in ensuring that every ballot is cast and accounted for in a verifiable, equitable and proper manner with Nevada’s voting and election laws being transparent and strictly followed relative to issues of potential voter fraud, suppression and/or deceptive manipulation. Election integrity reforms must include: Voter ID requirements, law-abiding processes, procedures, regulations, and results as defined by State and Federal statute, with every voter, in the State of Nevada, satisfying all local, state, and federal voting rights and identification laws.
Education
All children must have equal access to quality education. In addition, parents have the primary rights, responsibility, and the final oversight In the education of their children. The Clark County Republican party will support the parents’ choice of public, private, charter, alternative or homeschool for their children. It is not the role of the government to educate our children on matters of morality; this responsibility solely rests with parents.
Immigration
We support lawful immigration which provides the opportunity of citizenship with all the protective rights thereof. Secondly, to secure and control our sovereignty, national security, American values, our borders must have controlled access. We support enforcing the current laws and those who serve and protect our communities.
Freedom of Religion and Speech
Freedom of religion is a God-given right to practice one’s faith in private and in public. We support and uphold the right of an individual to articulate, express or verbalize their opinions, thoughts, or views without fear of retaliation or censorship.
Crime and Self-Defence
The right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed upon. Individuals must never be prevented from defending their life, liberty, or property.
Political Ethics and Integrity
All elected officials at the local, state, and federal level(s) will uphold, endorse, and defend the policies and procedures of their elected office and will serve their constituents with an “open-door” sense of decency and integrity. We support zero-based budgeting and the auditing of all governmental departments.
Military and National Security
We support a strong and well-resourced military and national security apparatus that serves all citizens free from political bias or favoritism. We are committed to the reduction of military adventurism abroad and refocusing to the military’s original mission of defense of the homeland. The freedoms that we enjoy were paid by the sacrifice of our brave Veterans. As such, the Veterans Administration should be well-funded as well as subject to rigorous oversight to ensure Veterans receive the prompt care and benefits, they have earned.
Water and Energy
We believe in non-reliance on any foreign energy resources and maintaining a free market that is protected through balanced management; and with a focus on water resource management by eliminating California’s rights, use and overreach of Nevada’s water supply.
Health Care
We believe in the freedom of the individual to make self-promoting health related choices, regardless of mandates or directives. We further believe parents have the right to make health choices for their minor children. We support and uphold the right to life for the born and unborn.
Independence From Foreign Influence
When unleashed, American industry is the most advanced and innovative in the world. Unfortunately, foreign governments have been purchasing our bureaucrats and elected officials for a pittance to pass legislation and regulations in their favor at the price of American interests. Our government servants and elected officials should be subject to rigorous and continued vetting to identify possible ties or relationships with adversarial governments, businesses, or corporations.
Taxation
Nevada must be protected as an income tax sanctuary. Taxation of human labor by the government is a form of involuntary servitude to the state. (We reject any and all bills that raise taxes and fees.)
Family Values
We support conservative values that promote a sound and sustainable understanding of a family, and as result, ensure the long-term strengthening of our citizens and our society. (The role of the Parent must be defended and championed by our legislators)
