EDDIE FACEY

My involvement in the CCRCC began with the 2008 caucus. Having moved from to Nevada from California in December of 2004, I had no familiarity with a caucus, and the county convention, state convention, and county central committee meetings that followed. One day in late 2009, the chair stated that there were some issues regarding the financial affairs of the party and requested a volunteer to perform an “audit”. As an MBA and inactive California CPA, I knew I could help – and I made a spur of the moment decision to get involved and help. Shortly thereafter, the Treasurer resigned, I was asked to serve as CCRP Interim Treasurer, and was elected as CCRP Treasurer at the CCRCC meeting in January 2010.Over the past 15 years, I have served the CCRCC as interim Vice Chairman, Treasurer, Deputy Political Director, and Executive Board Member.
